I would love to get a tubular one, i think they look great, but the HP and price in no way justify the purchase, unless of course you can find a super deal.

If it is a true GT40 intake it is worth $175. The GT40 intake is tubular. Cobra and Explorer intakes flow close to the same but look more like a stock intake and are cheaper in price and easier to find. As for horsepower, I think 10 to 15 is probably more accurate.

GT40 tubular intake - worth the money and resells anywhere from $300 up. flows the same as the cobra and explorer intake.

Ford Explorer intake - flows about the same as a cobra intake but worth $100 to $150 tops and a dime a dozen in the junkyards

- Cobra intake found over on corral.net for $250 up range

- Not a Ford intake but rather a bag of douche

I don't think any intake will give you 30 hp without any supporting mods. Idk, whats the best flowing intake out there? Trick Flow? Any imput on how much that'd give you?

Trick flow makes two brands of intake for our 5.Go's. Street heat and track heat I believe street heat is probably around 15-20 track heat 25-30

It's different for every engine, you can't go by what anyone claims you will get unless you have their exact set-up, and they have the dyno graph from before and after to prove it.

The TF lower is a very nice piece. They really straightened the runners in the front. However, this means it almost hits the distributor.

Probably worth at least 20 hp. More with some matching components (in comparison to the stocker).
