Cylinder head porting info (need help)

How many CFM's can you pick up from a good port job? I would like to get my heads flowing somewhere in the 270 range but don't know if it possible and i have NO clue what it would cost. And don't give me the crap about getting TFS's or any other canted head...If you guys tell me the port job could cost 700$ or so I know I would need to save up for new heads..thanks

what heads are you trying to port?

cast iron heads are going to be more expensive to port cause they are way harder to cut down.

i have well over $1000 in the port work alone in my tfs heads.

if your working with stock heads it will be cheaper to buy new heads.

I have aluminum edelbrock performer heads. 1.90 intake valve and 1.60 exhaust valves...wouldn't even bother trying to make E7's flow 270CFM :
