Tranny Kicks When Off The Gas

It really doesn't seem like a problem but I must know. When I'm driving the car, if I get off the gas quickly like to hit the brakes or whatever, the car has a kick like someone bumped me from the back. What in the heck is causing that and how to fix unless that's part of what the car does?

All I can assume is when I get off the gas, the driveshaft just has a very quick slow down. Oh well let me change up a little I don't want to blob up a ton of new topics...

When I turn my wheel to the left or right I hear a grinding noise, sounds like the rim is hitting something. Rims are the 17x9" Pony wheels. He claims he put a new rack and pinion on before we traded cars.

Take off your front wheels and check the inside of the wheels and wheel wall for any damage... Could also be a wheel bearing...
