1990 mustang notch good pricem

guy who owns this 1990 mustan 5.0 stickis a retired ford tex. car is very clean. black paint with gray interior. no rips. all stock. everything. has 150.000 miles. guy is asking 3000. might be able to get it for 2500. sound good.

ya sounds like a good, take it for a drive and see how it feels, if it really is clean with very little to no rust( mainly underneath) i would go for it if you like it.

the guy i work with its his father-in-laws car. it was a red car but years ago painted black. he tells me the car has always been garaged and has no rust at all. he is going to bring the car into work on tuesday for me to look at it. i will take some pics and post them up.

little update. i missed my budy at work today but he did bring in the car. i walked around it and looked it over. the paint is a cheap paint job. u can tell its a repaint. the prework was very poor. it looks like in had a moon roof and was welded closed but u see the out line of it. the side moldings and trim is showing age. and to top it off the heater went. so the heater core needs to be replaced. i have done one before and i am in no rush to do another one. interior just needs a good shampo cleaning. after work i am going to take it for a ride and see how that is. i know he is asking 3000 for the car and i was hoping to get it for 2500 but i am looking to getting it less, or just walking away. just have to drive it and see.

Always trust your gut. Helps to have a second set of eyes, if possible, too. Sometimes I would get too excited about a possible new car and miss lots of things cuz I wasn't thinking with my head, just my emotions.

yea i offered the guy 2500 for the car. he said no he wants 3000. the car is really not that bad. i grew up in a body shop so repainting the car is not a huge thing, the car is a nice ten feet car. it runs really nice the drives nice and tight. it would be a street car for the most part and i have so many cars that i need to get the car for what i want to buy it for.
