you see a trend here we just take the whole drinking and driving thing pretty serious alot of us are not young kids and have seen what happens when people do stupid shit without thinking about anyone but themselves. street racing is another sore subject yes we build our cars to go fast but myself atleast and i am sure i speek for may more on here do not condone street racing.

doughnuts in a parking lot are one thing we have all done it a time or two but never while drinking.

have fun good luck with the mustang but just dont do what you cant explain to someones family later after you kill their 16 year old daughter cause you wanted to show off your 16 second mustang while drinking a fourty of mad dog.

And i do appreciate the concern one thing you guys fail to realize is that i live in a house where the neighborhood is pretty spread out the next house is probably around 3 blocks away i may be stupid your right and regardless i still did drink and drive but I wasn't putting anyones life in danger only my own I don't think many people would be that stupid to do it in a place where someone else other than yourself would get hurt I apologize if you guys misunderstood me.

1990 Ford Mustang - Private Party Pricing Report - Kelley Blue Book

First of all, kbb estimates even the 1990 GT hatch w/ 200k miles on it only being worth $1200 in the condition you got it in. Even in good condition it's only worth $1700 or so. You did overpay, by double, than what the car is actually worth.

I'd suggest selling it and trying to recoup some cost, because an automobile in that condition is going to continue to be a money pit. Plus it would get one less asshole off the road.

Drinking any kind of alcohol and deciding to get behind the wheel of your car FOR WHATEVER REASON is shit stupid. Regardless of how you feel, it is a big deal, and your arrogance about the whole situation only pisses me off further.

Hopefully the mods will just remove this thread, and remove your account. The last thing you need is advice on how to make your car faster, more reliable, or whatever. All you need is a wake up call, hopefully in the form of a tree, that obliterates you into nothing more than a shit-stained skid mark on some deserted back road.

Well, I wouldn't go that far, but I will tell you this. I watched my mother single-handedly destroy my family because of her drunk driving. She took out an old lady's gas meter and almost knocked down her car port, took out a gang of street signs, completely totaled her van, and kept on driving.... piss drunk... The kicker is, she was on her way to the school to pick up my little sister... Luckily someone called the cops on her before she killed someone or herself. This happened almost 3 years ago, and my family is still suffering the repercussions of her shit decision. My folks lost thousands for the damage she caused. She also lost an excellent job because of it, had an interlock device installed for a year, and stained our name in the small town I lived in... And she got off easy. I won't call you a dumb ass for driving drunk, but I will tell you its a dumb ass decision to do such a thing and you should be ashamed of yourself for doing it. Luckily you didn't kill anyone or yourself. Now learn from it and move on.

wow that really hit home. I apologize if what i did offended anyone. I haven't done it since honest to god i didn't feel i did anything wrong by doing it in a place i knew where i was only going to hurt myself but i guess i was i'm sorry and i'll learn from it. And btw the person who said for me to learn a lesson by hitting a tree i wouldn't wish that on no one but hey i can't please everyone i hope nothing comes bad of you for a comment like that so have a good day and god bless
