Check Engine Codes Car Stalls After Revving but Idles All Day
I've got a 95 GT throwing codes:
122 552 553 558 Here's what my car's got: Eliminated Smog System Eliminated AC System Eliminated EGR Under Drive Pulleys BBK Long Tube Headers BBK Catted X Pipe MSD Super Conductor Wires MSD Cap and Rotor BBK Cold Air Intake BBK 75 MM Throttle Body Trick Flow upper and lower Intake w/ 1" Spacer Steeda Tri-Ax Shifter Steeda Clutch Cable Quadrant Fidanza Aluminum Flywheel Rebuilt T-5 3.73s The car starts good and will idle all day. If I rev it, it stalls but will fire right back up. Every now and then I get a backfire through the intake also. I've got so much money into this car and its been sitting for a couple years. I just wanna get it on the road. So any help is much appreciated.! Which of those codes could be causing my problem. Which ones do I not need to care about and How do I fix my issue?

I believe "122" is the throttle position sensor below minimum voltage. 552 & 553 seem to be related to your air injection and 558 is related to the EGR circuits. The last three are there probably just because of the deletion of the related parts. Though the TPS is probably causing your main problem with any gas above idle. Though I'm not too great with the 5.0, might want to wait to confirm.

ohm out the tps and then open the throttle slowly to full throttle, the ohms should steadily decrease, if not then you have a faulty tps.
the back fire is a common issue whenever the egr valve is malfunctioning, which in your case it could be from deleting it. you can eliminate the egr valve with a tuner. if its already deleted using a tuner then i would start looking for a vacume leak somewhers |

Bump. Anymore input? I'm gonna buy a TPS Wednesday to see if that works. Do I need to worry about the other codes? 552 553 and 558?

if the egr valve isnt shut off in a tune then check out the egr valve aqnd the dpfe sensor, other than that look for a vacume leak
