fan and radiator suggestions..

My car got into an accident and i need a new fan/radiator. I want to look into a taurus fan as i know they are cheap and I've heard they flow much more than a stock fan. And anyone know where to get a cheap/better than stock radiator? I need a car to drive since my sister totaled her car..any input is appreciated. Thanks-Ian

How did your car get into an accident by itself? Are you sure YOU didn't get into an accident with your car?. LOL. Anywho... heard many peeps use mishmoto on here. Tauras fan has a lot of current draw, you'll need an alternator upgrade if you use one. I have one, just not on my car yet since I don't have a bigger alt yet.

Side note to 93Hatch when you read this... Still waiting on the pics of the fan installed from the other thread. lol

You know what I meant...and I need something that will sufficiently cool the car and still be cheap. I have a 200 amp alternator so I'm pretty sure it'll hold. Do Taurus fans bolt right in?

The stock style radiator in the $100-125 range is a good radiator, its nothing special looks wise but it does work and can easily handle over double the stock HP in traffic with the AC in 100 degree weather. I was doing it for years in my boosted fox for years including the stock clutch fan. There are also quite a few all aluminum two core models under $200 that seem to work well too.

Many people run the tarus fan. The older they get, the more current they draw. The $30 cost of the fan at a pick and pull is only a small part of the total. It's not hard, just make sure you look at the total cost and the wiring required to get it going safely.

79-93 ALUMINUM RADIATORS 1 ROW AND 2 ROW - Corral.net : Ford Mustang Forums

I have the 2 row version, there's pics of one installed in the fifth post down.

I've had one for about a year and a half now back when I had a s trim and novi 2k blowers on the car and it ran great so i'd recommend one plus Art's an awesome guy to deal with.
