Everyone here will tell you that you absolutely have to have alum heads but I had a set of unported windsor jrs on my 351 and it ran 11.70s n/a on drag radials so they're capable of making good power. I wouldn't pay 650 for them tho , that's a little high.

I'd go for the TW's any day of the week. I sold my old 170's for 850 shipped. Never heard a peep from the guy since, so no complaints. That was with no rockers, but otherwise complete.

Go for the used Trick Flows for $800. That is a no brainer.

you will be a lot better off saving a few more doll hairs and getting a used tfs head. they are out there. summit ran a special not too long ago for 1000 new in box. Most I would spend on those heads would be 400 maybe 500 at the most.

on a side note, I dont particularly care for bullitts on a fox but they look good on that car.

Make him send you an invoice through paypal stating the condition of the heads. Paypal is as safe as it gets. If they are cracked, return them.

Plus, if he KNOWINGLY sold you cracked heads, drive to his house and give him a beating.... It'd be worth the drive.

use your visa or other cc card through paypal... if the part isn't as described or doesn't show up after you paid call your cc company and have a charge back done. You'll get your money back right away from your cc company then they'll go after the other guy for the money.

If 300 is all you put into them, no not even in the slightest bit.

I have never gotten broken parts, just item that weren't what they were labeled as (procomp distributor with MSD cap instead of MSD distributor, and gas tank for wrong year of bike) Both were successfully returned with return shipping paid for by them. If someone is selling them on corral, they are probably legit... just my thought.
