Common oil and Coolant problems?
by the firewall their was a bunch of coolant.. Anywhere that could be coming from? Also the oil is leaking from the center of the car. Its dripping somewhere but it looks like its been dripping for awhille now so its hard to see where it is dripping from. Any common places to look?

firewall leak sounds like a heater core. Oil could be anything on the back of the motor. Wash it and add oil leak detector and find a cheap uv light. Works wonders.

If it isn't fresh it maybe fixed and just not cleaned. Try this. clean the bay and under side, then take a cardboard box and cut it flat. Leave it under the car a few days everyday and seee if it leaks. It will give you a round about location of where to look as far as the front of back side of the motor. After that add the oil dye stuff and a cheap uv light. Also check tranny lines for any small leak or even the tranny itself. Fluid can go any where when your driving.

I vote rear main seal. But as previous person stated, you need to wash everything really so you are 'starting fresh' and go from there. I have access to a hoist and hot water pressure washer so it's easier for me, but I would assume that if you can get your car as high up as you can on jack stands and wear a raincoat or something, you should be able to get under there good enough with a standard pressure washer and plenty of degreaser.
The rear main seals on our cars can leak if you look at them wrong, so that's my bet, but you would also want to check your transmission tail shaft for leaking as well. While your car is up in the air, you can check the torque on your oil pan bolts, as well as your transmission pan bolts if it's an automatic. If you go through the process of cleaning this all up, I would just throw the dye in right away and check it daily. Also, come to think of it, if your intake is leaking on the back side seal, it will run down the back of the motor appearing to be a rear main seal leak too. Keep that in mind.
