hey sundro, any reason why you are going with 3.73 with aod? mine came with 3.73s when I bought it and I am looking to go with 4.10s. as far as difficulty, you have to take the dash out and pull the cable going in the back of the gauge right? the biggest pain should be taking the dash out enough to work behind.

I just changed my rear gear and all I had to do was change the gear at the transmission end of the cable. I'm pretty sure you don't have to do anything behind the dash, just the gear at the end of the speedo cable where it slips into the transmission. This was on a five speed but I figure that it would be the same on AOD, I may be wrong

Ya just remove the bolt and pull the clip on the side of the tranny to remove the speed sensor and change the gear. For future reference on speedo correction here is a great link...
