Ditto spanky's comment. They look like the generic JEGS, Summit, made in China cheapies. Better than stock no doubt. I'd recommend reading Maximum Motorsports CA info page before I bought those though.

even if the bushings suck the arms should be worth the price.

*noob question, and slight hijack* i know every one says get new rear control arms, but why. whats the added benefit?

deflection in the stamped stock control arms causes the axle to move in ways it was not intended to. The stock rubber bushings have too much give in them and they windup and cause wheel hop.

please don't tell me that you are considering those for this car:How much difference does a cutout make on turbo car answered...

you are going to spend how much on engine/turbo work and then cheap out on control arms?

I have the extreme duty ones from maximum motor sports. I couldn't be happier with them. I can't speak for any other brands out there but the old saying has pretty much held true in my life - you get what you pay for.

DO NOT BUY THEM. I bought the same identical looking ones off ebay (not sure if it was the same seller though), and was rewarded by tearing the metal on one of them while doing a burnout on the street. Then I had to hop it home, lol. I emailed them with pics and they sent a new one, but when I got it I just boxed it up with the other one and sold it back on ebay. That was less than 500 miles too.

Anything in a double adjustable so you can set your 'bite' better. I have some used UPR's with the sperical bushings, but they haven't migrated onto the car yet.

These are mine, but I think I only paid 160 slightly used. They wrecked the car, or so they said, lol.

Edit: I just looked back, I paid 260 used. I got f-cked! But at least they look new

I've always liked the TRZ and Edelbrock adjustable uppers... great quality.

Those misc ebay control arms have had plenty of threads on corral.net about damage occurring so i'd stay away. I've even posted a thread somewhere in this section with some examples etc. UPR is probably the cheapest without major build quality issues

I'll take them so long as they deny my offer on fleabay (which im sure they will).

Do you have a link? Are they used? They come with bushings? How is the install and how tight do they make the car?

I box welded a set of stock upper's and lower's years ago and added Energy Suspension poly bushings. They are still in my old 88 Notch that I just sold. Just 2 weeks ago the car ran a 10.80 @ 124 with a 1.53 60 ft, 1500 rpm foot brake launch. Not to bad for some modified stock arms!
