timing
I'm having a issue determining which way advance is on my dizzy. Does any one know if advanced is clockwise or counter-clockwise. Also if you could give me your opinion on a 10 degree advance or 15 thanks.

What due you mean about not knowing what direction to turn? Are you not watching the damper pulley as you turn? And 10-12 should be just fine. You dont want detonation so if she starts to ping under load you need to back it off.

As far as advancing spark which direction is advance. Is advance BTC or ATDC. If i know which one of these is advanced then ill be able to determine which way i have to turn the dizzy to advance it. thanks.

I have the dizzy out of the car cant crank the motor it will take me off TDC and then I'd have to find TDC all over again I know I'm lazy lol. I'm turning the crank with a ratchet.

Advanced is clockwise and the roller 5.0s love timing and can take up 22* advanced thats with the pill in.
