Crazy Tire Size question

So this is probably a different tire question than has usually been asked as far as a mustang goes. Now remember the key thing for this is that it would just be temporary to make the car a roller. So i have my 81 Mustang project car which is going to be making its transition to a 5.0 setup to be a little more competitive for autocross. Now obviously the factory 81 4 cyl brakes arent going to cut it. So i have a set of SN95 spindles, along with a baer 13" track kit that is going to be going onto the car. Now since its going to be going 5 lug, the rims i have for it wont work but i still want to be able to move the car around. So now for the question. I have a set of rims off a 2004 lincoln aviator, which has the same bolt pattern, and a very similar offset, but i want to know what the chances of the tires clearing the fenders are. Again this is just to make the car moveable while working on things. They are a 17" rim so they will clear the brakes, but the tires on them are a 245/65r17. Does anyone know if these will work for now? The car has no engine so its sitting rather high in the front but the motor will be going in before new rims are purchased.

The reason i was asking is because the tires are going to be getting swapped around with another set. So if they wont fit im not gonna pay to have them remounted.

jesus christ no fucking way bro.... thats damn near a 30" tire!!! those will NEVER fit in your wheel wells...

you need 235/45/17s or 245/40/17s up front, especially with the age of that body, the wheel wells werent very big in those years

Man I say slap that shit in there I had 17" rims on 45s on a 2 in drop and had clearence all day, right now its on 35/20s droped 2inch with the eibach sportlines and have no height clearence issues

I think on stock springs they will fit for a roller, like said before try 1 tire if it works awsome if not oh well

He has a 1981 mustang the wheel wells are smaller. in 1991 they made the wheel wells bigger for the OEM 16" wheels

I guess ill throw this out there too. The planned rims and tires i was looking at are below, should they be able to clear without any modification?
