whats this worth..... new to 5.0s

its a red notch. very straight, and the guy whos put it together really knows his shit. built lots of very high quality cars. hes a good friend so hes giving me a bit of a break, but i feel i shoiuld know kind of what to offer him. its in very good shape, runs bottem 11s easily, and can be daily driven.

specs:
it has a tremec tko in it, 26 spline input/ 31spline output, it has been gone through by mark lutton of mmr when he still had x2c racing, it was brand new when sent to him. it is supposed to be good to 9.99, it has 1000-1500 miles on it, i have put the miles on it

mcloud sfi bellhousing, promotion extended clutch fork, pro 5.0 shifter, mcloud clutch disc, df kevlar on one side organic on the other, valeo pp. steeda cable, adj and quadrant.

pedal is easy, clutch should be good for 10.50's all day.

it runs on 91.

91 coupe with vibrant red paint 2.5-3" cobra r style hood
01 charcoal seats power drivers
interior dyed black (carpet needs more, can see red when in direct sunlight)

alzo, is this going to be okay to daily drive.. i drive an 80 mile round trip 3 times a week
he said it gets around 18-20 with mixed driving

It will most likely not bring what it's actually worth. If it was me making the offer I'd start with 5K, and wouldn't pay over 7-8K just roughly guessing without seeing it in person and driving it. That's just me. It's a clean notch though.

Thats a very nice car. That car would fetch well over 5 k in my area. Id pay the min it took to get it with the tremec. Will make the car very fun

That car around here would sell for like 12k.
Love bogarts on a fox to, as long as your driving doesnt have lots of dips and bumps those rims will do fine!

i bet he'd take 6500 - 7000 for the whole bit if that is the case. which is a good deal considering what you would have to spend on building a car like that from scratch. yeah, it is a little pricy for a fox but it has the best of the best stuff installed. ( i am suprised that he didnt hpgrade the rear control arms though)

i just cant get that this is a little impractical for a daily driver, that will see every single day use, rain or shine. plus ive got a 2 year old that will be riding in the back.

The thing about that setup is that it's nothing crazy. Just a simple, well put together combo, that works. The cam isn't radical, and it should be just fine to drive. The question is, will it work with having a kid? Think about the cars your parents had growing up. We never had 4 doors, and we made it just fine. Is it AS practical as a normal family car? No, but does that mean that it's just impossible? Take your son over there, and have him get in and out, and see what you think.

Another bonus, is that thing was built to spray!

Gotcha.....

Man 5K is a great price for that car IMO....Just look at what the Vandys are asking. Two totally different cars, but still, which would you rather have? It ran well with the AOD too, but he had some input shaft issues. If you can get it for a little more with the Tremec in it, that would be a better buy. I'm spending a considerable more amount on my new engine setup right now, and it may or may not go that fast.....and you can get a whole car...a nice one at that.
