He was simply pointing out that a stock Mustang seems fast compared to a Monte Carlo SS. Modified or not, beating a new GTO is not a big accomplishment. A mildly modified Mustang will run with a GTO.

I was simply stateing that the stang might seem fast in comparison to a monte and everything that you have said in this thread leads me to believe that (A) your monte is barley faster than a stock stang and (B) you dont know didly about motors or speed.

95opal, my stang doesn't even have plates on it yet. all i've done are trips around the block so i'm not sure what is has for HP! EFI is a lot different than my carb setup. i've run all over 5.0's and bullshit GT's, GTO's and ricers. so i guess what i should have said was BOY THIS FORD SEEMS TO HAVE SOME NICE TORQUE, GOOD THROTTLE RESPONSE AND I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHATS BEEN DONE TO IT, and neither do you. don't insult my intelligence by saying i don't know speed or motors. just by reading your replies shows your level of maturity, grow up!
