dizzy's
Finally time to replace my distributor. My car is tuned, but and hits a wall at 4500 rpms and it still has the problem of shutting off after 20 or so minutes of driving. Idk where else to look other then a re-man dizzy for $59.99. any disagreements?
The real question aside from opinions is, can I run a cast iron gear? I know nothing about distributors but I have heard of horror stories involving gears, but I never read up on them.

the gear depends on your cam I fink can't really remember

It is a stock h.o. cam. So I figured I'd be fine. I want to be sure before I go out and purchase. This is flattus btw...

IIRC, you only need a fancy dizzy gear if you are running a billet steel cam.
