is there any meets or shows that people on here go to around the san diego county. im up in oceanside and have seen a whole 2 or 3 foxes besides mine. anyone know of any good mechanics around this area. tryin to get my rear end rebuilt and some 3.73's put in. as i have never rebuilt one b4! dont want to eff it up. unless there is someone around here who is down to show me how to do it. lmk

No I havent yet. I heard the qualcomm one is really good. The other ones are too far for me to drive on like a weekday night.

I have. My first car club was SCS. Cool bunch of people, and they have some nice cars. They are a bit of a drive from you are though. I would make the drive to hit up the SCS meets though. Going to the Q is a blast. I can't help you with mechanics over in oceanside, but if you get together with SCS they will point you in the right direction.

I miss the car meets they used to have down in Mission Beach on Saturday nights. Those were amazing.......haha

As far as your rear end. Hands down the ONLY shop I'll recommend to anyone in Southern California.

is that the one off of GRAND or 2nd ST ? theres one in El Cajon or la mesa. and theres a small one in Poway

There a guy up in ramona that does it and i guess you has a good rep. Hes doing my friends 73 camero as we speak. but think hes paying around $300 to have gears and C clip eliminator installed

there is a guy here in oceanside i was recommended to that is supposed to be pretty good. said he would rebuild the rear end and trac lok with the 3.73 install for $300. guess thats a pretty good goin rate. i cant find anywhere else that will do the trac lok rebuild. since ryan is in escondidio, we should get somethin goin close to here. i know a couple people with some foxes that would come out.

for sure. whenever you want. do you know where the 24hr fitness is of the 76? i have seen a few car meets there. its a pretty good size lot. and not many people there around 8 at night. for a fri or sat. im there almost everyday so i can talk to them to see if its cool if we use it every ounce in awhile
