Thanks for the imput, I'll have the machine shop check this when he's balancing it all. So if it is well out of round,, just send it back to Eagle?

The car is already set up for this kind of horsepower as it once was a full out drag car. The front end is all flaming river, and the rear end is all adjustable, as of right now they had it set up like an inch higher on the passenger side to launch straight, I'm assuming. The trans is the only thing I'm worried about right now,, and it's a T-5 that is suppose to be built, but you never know. Once I get the motor all done and the bugs cleaned up on that part, I'm going to start on the interior. I'll keep pics posted once I get everything back from the machine shop.

I would, but then again you may run into the same issue with another one. It depends on a few things, but another option would be to turn it and run oversized bearings. What it's made of will determine if that can be done because some cranks are hardend and can't be turned because you can cut past the treated metal and into softer metal. I really know nothing of eagle cranks so i don't know if they even have that option or not. I would talk it over with the machine shop if that ends up being the case.

Yea there was a few things I saw him pointing out that just made it clear that they are nothing but chinese junk now. I don't think not being indexed was one of them, so add that to the list, lol. Next crank I go will be either Callies or a K1... now that I think about it, I think it was a thread about ryans88gt's crank where woody was mentioning all this stuff. He got one in for him and said he wasn't going to put it in his block because it had some pretty good runout so he sent it back and got a K1.

My bad, I had drivetrain on the brain,, wanting to put a c-4 and decent stall converter in it, but funds won't allow this. What do you mean how in the heck am I going to set up this valvetrain? I have the best of the best right here at my fingertips,, lol! You asking for valve lash or timing?

If you want a decent deal on a C4 check out Redneck Performance. I have a few friends who have had good luck with them. Not as pricey as a PA.

Redneck are good, but don't use their converters.

I guess it's just like anything else. Some people have good luck with them, and some don't. I know a lot of people that have had issues with their converters, but I have personally never used one.

Something else,, do you guys know if I can modify my big tube bbk long tube headers to fit on the yates heads? The bolt pattern is on the top right corner and bottom left corner versus center on both sides?

You can buy header flanges, assuming your tubes still line up centered on each exhaust port. If so, simple cut and reweld.

It's not that simple. You will need a set of custom headers. The best place to find a set would be racingjunk.com. Kooks, accufab, or a custom fabricated set. Make sure they will work with your trans though.

LOL,,, I hope all this pays off for me in the end!!! I am building my car around the heads... Went to the garage tonight to see if my low profile valve covers would cover my jesel rockers and the heads take a cleveland valve cover.
