Did it just start all of a sudden, or has it always been like that?

Fuel pressure regulator. You can turn it with an allen key and it adjust the PSI of your fuel.

I would look for a leak first. Even if running a little rich, it shouldn't make it back into the car. Does it make a difference in amount of smell if your vent is blowing air or in the off position?

With an adjustable aftermarket one, the stock one and OEM replacements are non adjustable.

I haven't noticed any differance with the air on.

I just bought the car about 2weeks ago, and it's been doing it since thin.

Yes it has a rick fuel exhuast smell. I think I only smell it when my window is down.

do I really have to take off the hood to get to the FPR?

No, you don't have to take the hood off.

U need to seal ANY hole in the firewall with tape (or silicone) and then seal where the fresh air gets drawn in from under the wipers...seal it from the firewall side...i just did all this and it made a huge difference.

Might be the headers or collectors.

x2 on that check out your gaskets on the headers........ also check for tiny holes or a gap in the flanges....

I have a similar set of equal BBK coated shorties. They have been on for probably 8 years with no problems or leaks and still look decent. I'd double check your existing headers for leaks before swapping parts unless you want them anyway.

I want them lol. I'll just have to get gaskets and bolts for them because I don't think they come with the hardware.
