My car is. Previous owner did it. Looks like he braced behind it with tin or something and riveted it and bondo'd or something flexible over it. If I get ambitious, I'll go out and take a pic.

Don't mind the missing paint on the bumper. I got a good pressure washer

I've always meant to, and I've owned the car for 5 or 6 years now, but the exterior is the least of my concerns at the moment, lol. I've got to get my suspension in order and finish the nitrous kit install and get my ass to the track in spring. Got my Maximum Motorsports subframes welded on this last weekend. now I can run the nitrous line along that to feel like it's protected better. Torque box reinforcement can wait til spring. She's ready for her winter slumber

Right on.. im thinking about getting some subframe conectors. did you weld them your self ? do you think that its some thing my self could weld up even though ive never done it before. also did you have to pull up the carpet before you had them welded ?

No, the local chassis fabricator did them. I wouldn't trust my welding, lol. You shouldn't have to pull carpet. Done right, it shouldn't get that hot to burn it I guess. If you can weld, you probably can do it yourself. He has a four post lift, so it's easy for him. I think he charged too much, but he does beautiful work... He's an anal bastard, even if it's on the underside. I paid over a hundred to get them welded on.

100 dollars for peace of mind is worth it IMO

That's kind of what I figured... And it beats having a buddy weld them up laying on the ground and then having them look like poo.
