alternator find when doing my 3g upgrade
While doing my upgrade I realized there is actually only 1 wire going from the factory alternator to the starter solenoid. If you look at the alternator there's 2 thicker wires(like 10 gauge), but about a foot later they y into just 1 wire. Maybe that's why the charging sucks. If I didn't have the new Alternator ready I would have ran better wire with the factory 70 amp alternator to see how much it would help. Just figured I'd share this since it suprised me. Oh yea and the 3g Alternator upgrade is real easy.

I read the yellow wire is so the regulator knows how many volts it has.
