just buy the new ring and pinion set. Better look into a new rebuild kit with shims and bearings etc. Altogether it will run you about $250 or so.

There are alot of places to buy them. Check out www.brenspeed.com

you might have a limited slip. what is your axel code? if it is a "z" you have a 3.08 w/ ltd slip. if it is a "y" you dont have a ltd slip.

its cheeper to rebuild the ltd slip than to buy a new one.

well doing a burnout only the pasenger side tire spins

It is not a limited slip its a single track rear with 3.08 out of a 92 mustang my gues a 4 banger i was under the impression that ford put limited slip in all there 5.0 stangs or am i wrong

so it is cheaper to build this rear and ad the limited slip and gears

or try to find something drum to drum allready setup

so, limited-slip both tires will spin at the same time. I got mine with 3.73 gears for about $250 at a junk yard

+1 on the trac lok needing a rebuild......they have kits to rebuild them at the ford racing website. 50 buck for a regular kit or about 110 for a carbon disc kit

you could use f150 clutches in rear they are stonger also i think you can add an extra one to make the limited slip a little stonger where both tires will spin
