Auto tranny
So I got a 1990 mustang gt hatchback. I want to keep it automatic but I want to get a better high performance auto tranny. If I do this what will change as far ass the performance as a whole including mpg? Its stock 5.0.

depends on what trans you get. if you go to a c4 which is cheap you'll lose your o/d gear so your mpg's will suffer. but they're cheap to build up and can handle a beating. or you can have someone build your aod, your mpg's wont change but it will be costly compared to the c4. if all you have is a stock motor or just bolt ons i'd say just get a nice stall converter, trans cooler, and a different input shaft and valve body and you'll be set for quite a while.
