got back from the dyno

car dynoed 563.6rwhp and 550.5 rwtq at 5,500 rpms @9.5 psi then ran out of fuel....reline of the motor is 6,500-6,800 rpms so it gives me roughly 1,000rpms to 1,300rpms to play with till redline and idk how much more boost..should be in the 600,s by 6,500rpms

i REALLY hope its not the stock block.

even corrected numbers still has you at that risk zone for a oem block.

sick numbers though, more then I expected with that boost level.

no corrected to my elevation of 5,800ft above sea level the numbers were ike 457rwhp up here but like i said by redline should be close to 600rwhp or over for sae numbers and corrected would be about 500rwhp for my elevation

I don't know what equations you are using for correction and not that a final number really matters to anyone anyway but for your planning purposes... As your boost goes up, the value of the correction factor that needs to be applied for a realistic output power estimate for the elevation difference goes down. Meaning.. The higher the boost the lower the effect of altitude. The ratio of pressure difference goes down, that is the reason why using boost in higher altitudes is so popular.

+1

I estimate a N/A car loses 18-19% HP from our elevation. a boosted car probably only loses half of that, and at higher boost levels a 1/4.

I would guess 560whp with 9.5% loss for elevation puts you around 510-520whp. but my figures are probably way off.

I know my n/a numbers are good, but for boost im not sure.

yea no i was just posting the sea level numbers cuz half the people around here dont understand that elevation affects hp and go off what sea level numbers are sothats what i posted and when u go to a dyno up here all they give u is the sae numbers so easy dont freak 93hatch

and track times idk yet still waiting for it to open

the 600 number is a guestamiate for SEA LEVEL (sae numbers) when i can get fuel and take the motor past 5,500 rpms
