Out with the old in with the new


Customer just drooped off there car for a 351 turbo swap. Im going to try to document the progress as much as possible. Car is a show car and his pride and joy.

The motor did get hurt, the combo we tried did not work. Also cars back up and running. My father has been building engines for years i just got out of the import game to help him now. And also shit breaks all the time, shit happens. This is my street car, i just bout another 91 with a DSS built block and a vortech s trim to build as my race car.

Right now its all stock. Were taking out the motor and trans this week to sell it. Hes going with a 351 turbo setup running on a DFI engine management system.

show car no..

dislikes and signs of lack of taste are:

ebay steering wheel
horrible rims (hell the tri spoke sn95 wheels are nicer)
tail lights
gay fake fuel door
one piece euro head lights
half black interior while the rest is gray
stalker front clip although isn't that bad, im not digging on this car

Likes:

Old school cyberdyne cluster is kind of cool until half of it burns out
Cobra bumpers always cool
Hoods ok
Paint looks clean

To each his own. Cars really clean. The he has had that cluster for years. He has the new setup from 50resto with all the auto meter gauges which we are putting in. Also he is bringing us the complete black interior to put in. The light i dont like either. But it should look nice when were done. Car should look a lot cleaner when were done.

Beautiful car,but lose that gas cap door thing.Also the tri-spokes are nicer,imo

For one the fuel door is not fake, steering wheel is not ebay its MOMO, euro light lights is da best thing they did for this year car!!!! Like my boy said to each is own!!!!! Da cluster is cool it hasn't burned out yet, I have another set of cluster that I bought from 5.0 Florida all digital auto meter gauges!!!

Those rims that I have on it now is not the rims that are going to stay on!! I have a set of 5 lugs 6 spokes..

Not sure if you know this or not, but DSS blocks are just stock blocks prepped with their equipment. Granted you'll get much better machinework than your average run of the mill machine shop, it's still a stock production block.
