MSD ignition Question ..advice is appreciated


Alright guys so i have a stock 5.0 ignition..and now i am switching over to all new MSD ignition..MSD distributor, 6AL box and blaster 2 coil..and i have everything figured out except what in the world do i do with the stock little wiring harness thing that fits on the stck distributor? with the timing chip and everything..because the MSD dist. only has the hookup for the 6AL box , i know its the right dist. it just doesnt have the hookup for the stock wiring..please help!

You have the wrong distributor. You need to get the MSD TFI distributor for EFI 5 liter. Sounds like you have a carbureted 289-302 distributor.

the 6AL box came with a brochure that said the dist. was for a 5.0..i thought it was for a carb car too but my dad keeps tryin to tell me its not..no not really stock at all besides the ignition

pictures of what?...and thanks darrell i looked it all up today and i do have the wrong dist.so its up for sale if anyone wants it..brand new module in it...asking 200$
