New 5.0 owner... minus the 5.0![]() my gf got it for me for my B-day. its got everything except for a running motor. i'm deployed right now so i haven't personally gotten to see it, but she says she also picked up a couple blocks, a rotating assembly, cam, and heads (no info on those items though). i think i found myself a keeper. so what's the deal, this is my first car under 3 years old. what am i lookin for when it comes to engines?

ya lol.
so i seriously need some guidance here. the aftermarket is so completely overwhelming i don't even now where to start. she got me a couple bare 302 blocks, so i'm looking for heads and the choices are endless. any ideas?

he interoggated me ... its SO not my fault .. i HATE when he does that !!!!!! but no he doesnt know but im sure he will when he gets on next time since i outed myself... but he told us to get on here with any car questions and you guys seem like pros to me. helped me a lot . anyways ya lol cats outta the bag now .... dangit.

I understand the risk taking with a stock block/rotating assembly. but there is something about having the piece of mind of a Ford Racing Boss 302, aluminum head and intake with some nasty cams and a F1C Procharger.

When you build a stock 302 the Block actually becomes the weak point. But thats not until after you are around 500RWHP +.

i guess we will have to really look into all the options. I just want him to do whatever he wants to the car. like his ideal dream car that is his choice down to every single drop of paint put on the car.

shit... i miss you megan.
so i think i can deal with a stock 302 block. i don't plan on 500hp or anything crazy like that. just a sweet lookin whip that pulls real nice. i think a nice h/c/i combo is all i need.
