Short Shifter


ok so i have made up my mind that im getting a short shifter and i found a few on ebay and need some opinions on how good these are and if they are worth it

Pro 5.0 Power Tower Shifter with short throw handle - eBay (item 180593240318 end time Dec-04-10 12:16:04 PST)

Don't know anybody with the 1st one
I have the 2nd one, and like it
Prolly get what you pay for with the 3rd one
Also consider MGW as a 4th one. Super adjustable handle, although I don't have issues with placement of mine.

yeah im iffy about the 3rd one, but i know the second one is gonna bid pretty high, just gonna have to keep my eyes open for the good deals

I think this summer im going to pick up a MGW they seem to be very good and i havent heard any complaints

i have the pro 5.0 shifter and im more than satisfied with it. and holy s*** that handle is tall lol, the top of my handle is even with the top of my cd player if not a hair or two shorter.

i used to have the hurst handle on mine and it was probably about that tall lol, i gave it away

i hear you man, and your own personal opinion is all that counts, not talking down to it, i like the shorter one mainly on how comfortable it is to shift.

out of the three posted, the first one PRO5.0 is the top easily.. only other better would be the mgw but they don't sell cheap.

I have had three pro5.0's and will buy another when another car shows up in my driveway.. steeda isn't bad neither, they make some really nice quality stuff.

Im running an old old school hurst shifter that isnt ajustable i pulled it out of my 85 gt right before i sold it. its got to be almost close to 18 years old by now, and i got to say ive never had a problem with it
