If you want to take some time off your slip, you will need suspension more so than gears.

i was looking at the car, there's not that much u can take out besides the spare tire. i'm about to do the rear seat delete which is another 16-19 lbs which is nothing. anything that's pretty heavy that's a good thing to take out that i don't need that's somewhat hidden? i dont want my car to look like it's a stolen recovery and it's been parted lol

you dont need strut tower braces... stop thinking like a ricer.

replace your front springs, all four shocks and struts, and your rear control arms. Have a set of subframe connectors welded in. and get your pinion angle set to -2°.

+1

with a AOD, your not going much of anywhere. the stall is so low, the car just doesn't get off the line.

when my car had a AOD It ran 2.5 60' very consistantly. on a 50shot, it droped to a 2.0 60'. thats a HUGE difference. also droped 2.5 seconds off my ET.

after a 5 speed swap, 1.9 60's where the norm.

so I say work toward ether getting nitrous, or getting that car off the line harder, IE a stall, or 5 speed swap.
