Need help on diagnoses

So my car was running great 347 stroker fully built blah blah blah..just reached about 800 miles on the motor

so i am driving through a neighborhood stop at a stop sign and just gradually take off from the stop sign..(car was warmed up and was just cruising it prior to this everything was completely fine) the second i started to accelerate( not romping on it) the car seem to start hesitating and like cutting out seeming as it was running on 7 cylinders.. so pulled over shut the car off checked all wires, vacum lines, computer chip, and ignition wiring everything checks out and is fine no holes rips or leaks....so i am trying to figure out wtf happened...check iac, maf, distributor, the spout for the distributor, and tps all are still hooked up..no check engine light came on or anything but it seems like the car stopped firing on all cylinders and has a weird pitch in the exhaust now..oil pressure is still great and is not smoking one bit and has no crank case pressure...so any ideas wtf it is? no loud nosie or anything bad coming from the motor motor idles fine but when it trys to rev up..in gear or not it seems like it is running on 7 cylinders or something and hesitating...so idk what the deal is..guna pull plugs next..figured if a rr came loose it would be making a hell of a racket so idk..

I'm not sure what the proper name of it is but change the castle top looking thing in the distributor that's just under the rotor. I had a 94 gt that came real close to me pulling my hair out doing the exact same thing you are talking about. I was just about ready to change the whole distributor even after I had already changed everything inside it except for the castle. I decided to change it before a distributor was bought and the fixed the problem.
