The poly bushings will help tighten/firm up the suspension but you will get more NVH.
I swapped to poly bushings in the rear arms this summer and the noise level was a noticable increase.

Most suggest against using poly on uppers because they cause more binding issues... it'll cause more binding. Just do rubber or if you don't mind allot of noise the spherical bushings.

They don't make noise, they just transmit it better.
Unless you don't lube them, then they squeak, but that's not the noise most are referring to. If you've got the budget, I wouldn't waste my time replacing rubber bushings. Just get a set of decent LCAs. If you're straight-line only, poly/poly is cheap and should be good enough. If you can afford it, sphericals are better than poly (more freedom of articulation AND stiffer), but again transmit more noise. For the uppers, skip straight to sphericals.

Any of the good, know, name-brand suspension companies sell them. Maximum, Griggs, Steeda, Team Z, BMR, etc, etc, etc.
