New stang!!!
Hey guys, I just got my first ever 1990 mustang gt. I love it I had to drive it a 160 miles home last night. This things great, it's completely stock all the way to the exhaust. It looks brand new. There isn't even a tear in the interior. I purchased it for $3500 from a doctor. I'm glad I took my time to find one. I'll put up some pictures of it later. So should I just leave it stock, or start doing some things to it????? Any insight or advise will be greatly appreciated.

you can atleast bump up timeing and change air filter, wont make a huge improvement but it also wont make any visual changes if you wanted to keep it stock.

Mod it, Fox's are not rare and are never going to bring crazy money, at least probably not in your life time, Don't think you will see a fox rolling through Barrett Jackson any time soon. Most likely you won't keep the car for more than a few years anyways. It happens especially when you are younger, you will want something newer, bigger, better, faster, etc. Is it a 90 or a 98 cause your thread says 90 but your av says 98? and 3500 is a little pricey for a 90, but if it is super clean and a virgin car then it probably isn't a bad deal
I would have to agree with gears, and subframe connectors first step, then maybe some suspension work and save up for some TF heads and intakes, and a custom grind cam or if you are on a smaller budget go with gt40 heads and intakes, and maybe a stage 1 TF cam.

You bought it from a DOCTOR ? Let me guess.... the Doctor bought the car from a little old lady that only drove it on the weekends to the grossery store, and her son it a ford mechanic that changed the oil every 1500 miles....lol
just playing.....

Haha yeah right, I was 18 and I went to the cheverolet dealership and saw a 92 mustang LX 5.0 in 95 and they were asking 6995 on the used car side. They told me it was traded in by a Dr. in Briar Creek (A really nice neighborhood) When we started the car I could tell it already had some work done, and I drove it and I could tell even more. Well this 50-something year old Dr. that traded this car in was actually the dad of the kid who I went to school with, and I had told him what mods to do to the car when he got it. It had full exhaust, Cobra heads and intakes, B cam, CAI, and 3.73 gears (bought from ford racing at HIGH $$$) The dealership financed me with like 3 grand down, first time buyer with no credit or cosigner and they screwed up and offered me the extended warranty which they were not supposed to offer I found out later when they were replacing the main seals, and the transmission 2x (because their dumbass mechanic put the wrong main shaft the first time) the second they told me to take it to a transmissions shop and they would pay, and I had them install a tremec and I just paid like 3-400 bucks difference... So are you sure that was a doctors car?

I'm positive it's from a doctor. I met him at his work as he was getting off and following him home. Nice guy actually lol, he didn't give me any stories or anything. All he did was show me it, tell me what was right and wrong, then I looked it over. It's a 90 I used to have a 98 gt and an 03 cobra. I was thinking about going with the trick flow top end kit, exhaust, gears, shifter and sub frame connectors. Would that give it a descent amount of power?

Yes and no. Depends on what you consider a decent amount of power. If you like the TF stuff, get the heads, Stage 2 cam, and R intake. It's too bad they don't have that as an option. But the Top end kit in the Track version would be nice too, and gets you all the necessary accessories. That being said, always double check your pushrod lenth, the ones from the kit could end up not being appropriate.
