You don't need to disconnect the cable to pull your motor. Jack it up a lil and pull it while shaking it side to side. The input shaft is sticking in the pilot bearing

i have all the bolts out. i have the jack torwards the tailend of the trans and i was shakin the piss out of it while tryin to bring it back some and it wouldnt budge... should i try to remove the 4 bolts holdin the trans to the bell?

I always pull the transmission first. Then remove the bolts for the bellhousing. Have you removed the starter?

The way I usually pull an engine is to pull the bellhousing with the engine. I unbolt the 4 bolts on the trans to bellhousing and shimmy clutch off the input shaft of the trans. Works well for me, plus you can do any clutch work you need to do sitting/standing as opposed to laying on your back.

I'm removing both engine and trans...also do i need to get a spacer with that intake. He has a 1/2inch and a 1 inch spacer
