Battery relocation quiestion?

I was thinking about relocating my battery. I was thinking about doing it for 2 reasons.
1. Better weight distribution
2. to try to get rid of all the Noise through the Stereo system

The quiestion is will it get rid of the backround noise?
Instead of buying all the Expensive Filters to get rid of the noise if relocating the battey will also get rid of the noise I will try that first.

Thanks for any advise.

I noticed in your sig that youre running a 120 amp alternator. The extra noise youre getting may be coming from the axtra current comming out of youre alternator.

It was doing that before the Swap.
I kept burning up the stock Alternators. Almost lost the car 3 times to fire from it.

I have been through the wiring many times for the Stereo system and have Monster cables for the Rca's

Now that I installed the Ignition system I pick up noise from that as well.
Thats why I was wondering if moving the battery and eliminating the stereo wires from inside the car might fix it.

I will try the ground wire thing. But if relocating will get rid of most of it the I won't need the Filters.

My grounds are mounted to the Body in the trunk.
I have good Clean connections as well.

A chassis ground will be fine as long as it is a good one. As far as the size it really doesn't metter as most electrons travelling back to the battery are lost traveling through the frame back to the battery. A BAD GROUND IS THE #1 CULPRIT OF BACKGROUND NOISE IN YOUR CAR STEREO. That is all.

I will try playing with the wiring a little more to see if I can make it better or get rid of all of it.
The EQ is starting to Act up again. Time to take apart and check solder connections again.
