I didnt read every comment, but here is my opinion for what its worth. Why 347? 185's are to small, what are your goals? I would do the max CI, stay away from DSS motors, AFR or Victor heads are great, go large for future add ons

go to cpg nation forum and join just like this one...they got a tech that answers any question you can think of in the same format as this forum....and comp cams,zex nitrous and a few other performance companies sponsor it so you tell em wha you are doing and they give you from the oil pan up kind of answers...they were a great help with my nitrous system
