Where is a good ground for a trunk mount batery kit in a hatch?

Well If I was u I would run the ground cable up to the engine block cause it's suppose to be grounded to the block

Anywhere on the frame or somewhere that has double wall metal would be fine, i.e. the shock tower. I wouldn't run a ground up to the block, because you want the shortest length possible on a ground. You can ground the block to the frame and you will get a nice ground for your engine that way.

thats what i did on my other car. i ran the wire through the trunk with a grommet and grounded to the rear frame rail and the block to the front rail. works great!

i used the rear seat belt bolt for mine then ran extra from motor to frame

it is, but the frame is the best place in the rear. then on the motor you can just ground it to the frame up front.
