No gears when shifting into 3rd at high rpms?
Hey guys new here with a question. I have a 1990 5.0 w/ stock T-5 and a king cobra clutch. When I go to shift into 3rd gear from 2nd at 5500-6000rpm there is nothing there. 3rd gear feels like neutral and if I try to go into any other gear, nothing. Then after 10-15 seconds all my gears are back and it drives normal.
Shifts from 1st to 2nd just fine at 5500-6000rpm and if I shift into 3rd at 5000rpm or less it goes in with no problem. Its only in the 5000rpm+ range that all gears feel like neutral. Any ideas? Kinda hard to describe but hopefully someone has an idea. Thanks for any help! -Nick |

Dam you shift at high rpms. I only do that at the track. I would take it easy on that clutch since its still almost new
