t5 tranny and 408w ???

will my t5 tranny hold the power and torque in a 408w build that's prob gonna be built to be somewhere in the 400-520 hp range? or do i need to invest in a new tranny now? also prob gonna spray a few times, but not very often at all, so that number could go up. thanks

also, if i need a different tranny, please tell me which one and about how much they cost. or if i can do anything to my current tranny to strengthen it to handle the power.

oh oh oh, car will not see too much track action, but i do want a mid to low 11 sec 1/4 mile car. but it will see mostly street action

A stock T5 will never hold up. You need a Tremec.

Welcome to MM. As Darrel said, you will shell a t5 quickly with that kind of hp. Time to upgrade.

get a G-Force T-5 and it would handle it fine
