Question

Oil pressure gauge ?

I bought a c2 oil pressure gauge to put in my car

But the oil pressure send unit cant screw into the block theres not enough room for it and the side of the sending unit hits the block

Has any one ran into this problem before can you get an adapter or anything to to fix this ?

What year is your car? They changed something on the block 94 and up. I've ran into this same problem because I had a 94 block in my car at one point and my sending unit from the 89 wouldn't fit. There is an extender you can get to make it fit I believe you can get it from ford, or you can just get the smaller fitting for the 94-95.

You should be able to use brass fittings to extend it so it clears.

I have the same c2 gauge in my 88 and it fit fine. Same size as the pos oem sender was but it didn't screw directly into the block. there's an adapter that should be there from the factory.

here's a pic of what im talking about.. it's the piece the wrench is on obviously

HD and Lowes have a bunch of NPT brass fittings (adapters, tees, elbows, caps, extentions, etc) that will work.
