So just like the title says the car idles good but when i turn the wheel sometimes it surges down and dies especially if i have the lights on and turning hard at the same time> specs on engine r 306 eddy heads ,trick flow stage 2 cam and vortech supercharger. The car is tuned and has been fine for awhile now ( all summer and last winter) but just started doing this since its gotton colder out seems. I know when i first start it and its cold out the belt i think to the power steering and alt i think squeals a little would that cause this if not what would. Also car idles at about 1000 and is tuned with btm box

It could be the IAC, or maybe steering pressure switch (if these cars have them). If you have access to the tune you could put a couple hundred rpms in the accessory rpm adders.

Well the tune is not a chip it was tuned by my guy who built everything for me . He tuned it by hand and btm box for when its in boost and other then that its absolutely fine and it only does it when the car is turned hard usually when i shift into nuetral and coast and turn hard it will surge down and sometimes die. if it doesnt die it surges down and hops back up to normal.
