If it were the boost or bottle I would have said that! So you seen someone running low 10's using E7 heads. Good for you! All I was saying there were a few negative comments about the Vic Jr's, in which are a good head, I have run them, I have alot of friends running them, I know of several low 5 second cars running them, so they cant be all that bad, they put out good numbers on the bench, and the cars I seen with those heads run rather well pending the correct combination of course. Switching from a TF 190, to vic jr's helped my car quite a bit!

You've seen vic jr combos running low 5's N/A? That seems pretty unlikely to me unless we're talking big blocks or very large cube small blocks in rail cars.

I do disagree that the vic jr is a shitty head because I've seen some pretty quick cars run them myself, but low 5's N/A is a stretch.

5'20-5.30's yes, Large displacement windsor based strokers. Below is a video that is about 3 years old, he was running 5'60's 5'70's at that time car is now running consistant 5.20's. The car is 43? CI, victor Jr's, same guy has another one running consistant 5:40-5:50's. I have two other friends running 5.25-5.35 on large CI Windsor strokers, Ported Vic Jr's and a small custom grind cam!

Well then my hat's off to those guys. Thats what, over 1000hp at the flywheel out of a vic jr headed smallblock N/A? In a fox nonetheless, so those cars can't weigh less than 2600 race weight give or take? If what you're saying is true then these are max effort vic jr engines, are these guys class restricted or something?.. and again, if what you're saying is true there's some serious coin tied up into those cars.

I dont argue that a bit. They are serious cars, stripped as light as possible, with some serious money tied up. But it is the fact that they are running Vic Jr's and choose to do so over any other head available. That means to me that these guys who have been racing for 15+ years obviously didnt pick a "junk" head. They are getting great results out of the Vic Jr heads. I'm not saying its the best head out there, but it is obviously not a shitty head! My personal experiance with them has been great! thats all I am trying to say nothing more nothing less!
