TPS HELP!!!!!!!
ok hers my problem or symptoms
I have a bbk 70mm tb I replaced the IAC valve because the idle was loping now i cant get the idle right when i check the voltage to the tps the lowest i can get it is 1.04 volts when you start the car it warms up fine but after that idle drops to about 800 in park and in gear it about 650 but in park when you rev it it come down to about 1700 then very slowly drops to 800 PLEASE HELP |

maybe tps? or EGR Position sensor. do you have an engine light on?

You can try making the holes a bit bigger in the TPS so you can turn it to get the voltage to drop below 1.0V. I have always had good luck in the .95 -.98 range on the TPS.

well i took the whole upper intake apart and found alot of carbon build up in the tb and throttle plate also in the egr spacer and gt40 runners so i cleaned it all up and changed the plugs cap and roter now im waiting for my gaskets to come in as noone around here had the gt40 gaskets in stock
so looks like i will have to wait until tuesday to see if this worked ps also found the thrittle plate was loose i think that is what was causing the whistle i was getting so i tightend that up to see if that will work thank for your help i will post more as i move foward with this project |
