I am always amazed at the endless misinformation that surrounds nitrous.

This is not true.

As long as you follow the instructions provided by the nitrous kit manufacture...you will be fine.

Depends on how much you spray. If you are using a small amount of nitrous (150 or less) its kind of hard to screw anything up. Anything more than that and you do need to shut the car down and check your plugs or you are just asking for trouble. If you don't read your plugs you will never know if anything is going wrong. All it takes is a small particle of dirt to melt an engine down.

I agree, with a small shot 150 or less you don't need to check each time. With a bigger shot like a 200 or more though it obviously would be a good idea to check it out and see whats going on.

The others are right about pullin your plugs with shots over 150hp. Reason being is you are lookin for signs of detonation on the plugs to tell if you are running to lean.. Usually if you are experiencing detonation you will maybe see some sort of metal specks on the ceramic below the center electrode tellin you to get more fuel and or retard the timing more right away..
