Which wire to control power window or locks
Recently installed powers doors and windows in replace of manual doors. Plugged in all harnesses, doesn't work. Which wire do I tap into to run a relay or a fuse ?
Thanks, Ted |

Well, Ted, considering power windows utilize a three position switch it is not realy a big deal, where you get it but more in where you send it. The power side uses a two sided switch with a constant ground. Directed to one side to go up and the other to go down. I would check the ground side first and then the supply side.

Ok, so your saying that the main switch has a constant ground. But what side is the ground, what side is the supply ?
Thanks |
