pcv grommet

Hi..

i was finishing up my motor and i noticed that the rubber pcv grommet was loose in the lower intake.I picked up a new one at the local napa.
That one is just as loose, what gives,,is this one of those parts that are better purchased at the ford dealer..

thanks

i have 89 gt and just had my pcv out to run it to a catch can. i noticed that too but didnt really think twice about putting it back in. when you put it in with the pcv in it and tug on it a little does the grommet pull out of the manifold or the pcv pull out of the grommet or niether? if it doesnt pull out easily dont worry about it.

This may sound cheesy but I tightly wrapped one or two turns of electrical tape around my PCV and then pushed it in. Nice and snug now.
