you should adjust the cable on the bottom if you installed an aftermarket
cable or on top if you have a firewall adjuster

Another thing that might help ya is that my King Cobra clutch was really stiff and having trouble going rough into reverse and first for about 50 miles. You know those clutches have a recommended break-in perion of 500 miles....mine stunk whenever I got on her even slightly for awhile after I installed it up till about 250 of those 500 miles!

ok we tore the tranny out again last night and thought about putting a spacer under neith the ball in the bellhousing to make it a little higher and when we did now the gears grind real bad.

also when we had the clutch in the first time i had to rev match to get the clutch to engage into first and second but if i shut off the car it slid right in this is getting really annoying and tedious fast also the clutch cable is fully extended supposedly the oppening where the the arm comes out of the bell housing is to small because we think its not getting the clearance to disengage the clutch lemme know what you guys think i want my car to drive to prom or i got to drive the gf's truck and its not the sharpest thing

Don't know about the whole spacer thing, SN95's have longer imput shafts to the tranny so I prolly wouldn't have the same issues as your Fox.....I'd try it without the spacer if I was you.

another thing you might try is getting a diffrent clutch. i had nothing but problems with my king cobra. it was by far a huge piece of shit. my stock one worked better.

Sounds more like the syncros in your tranny are on the way out. The KC is fine Ive used it many times over the last 17years with no problems. It does have a stiffer pedal feel than most other clutches.

it really isnt the clutch it self that makes it a heavy peddle its the pressure plate isnt it?
