Hook great on the street. Last longer than M/T, but not as gummy on the street or strip...

Well if you have BFG drag radials dont expect them to work well in the turns. Remember they are drag radials...

yeah but there basically normal tires...they have all tread...dont see how they can even bee considered drag radials...T/A's are actually considered drag radials

I liked mine a lot. They performed well when they were warm..but cold...not so much...or at all.

They are also fairly inexpensive for DRs and last longer than most from what I've heard. But I've also heard that the BFG and M/T tires are a lot better from a performance stand point.

Oh, and they are $$$$$$.

No they are not basically normal tires.. The sidewalls are designed to flex more than a normal tire giving you better grip along with the soft rubber compound.. Regular BFG T/A tires are not actually considered drag radials.. Who told you that? BFG makes a drag radial its called the G-Force T/A. They use T/A in some part of the name in their entire performance product line..

My bad! I just assumed you were asking about the DRs! I had the Nitto 420s on the front to go with the 555r tires on the back and my buddy has the normal 555 (not the 555r drag radials) on the front of his GT...but I've never driven a RWD car with NON-drag radial Nittos. Sorry

Both tires I mentioned seemed fine to me, but like I said it's hard to tell how well they perform on the front of a RWD car!

Yup! But all F-bodies made from '98-'02 came equipped with an LS1. Did your buddy do a motor swap? I read an article about a guy with a built LT1 in a later model Camaro that goes low 9's N/A with no spray!

I run the Mickey Thompson Et street radial, hooks as well as their slicks, just dont last as long as others, Id use the MT's for a more drag only car, Nittos for more street than strip and BFG if its a good mix
