just wanted to say hey ya'll we just picked up a 94 gt, first question my fuel gauge stays in the full position no matter what, where should i start to look to fix this.....thanks

Start at the tank. Pull the wres off the sending unit then check the guage. If it drops you probably have a problem with the in tank sending unit. If nothing happens It could possibly be the guage.

where are the wires


will i have to drop the tank to get to the wires or is there a spot under the spare tire for me to get to?

everyone iv'e ever talked to said it's a ford issue with the sending unit (if your gauge cks out ok). Mine will read full until about half a tank, then read 1/2- 1/4, and then read full until the light comes on and then reads to empty from there....

This helped with my fuel gauge at one point. Just take off the fuel line to the fuel rail and wait a second for pressure to drop, which backs down the gauge. Then plug back it.

That helped on mine.
