Newer 351W blocks (after 1977 or so) are weak. Older (1977 and earlier) can handle about 700 if you don't turn them to hard.

I have a 73' 351W, and it's a two bolt main so I am hesistant to make a ton of power with it. Is this something I should be worried about or no?

Is there such a way to strengthen or convert it to a 4 bolt or even 8 bolt?

only aftermarket blocks are 4 bold mains, Unless you splay the caps, 2 bolt is all your gonna find, and will hold the power just fine

8 bolt? If you make enough power to worry about 4 bolt mains then you need an aftermarket block. Putting 4 bolt mains on a production block is a waste.

I have a 1974 2 bolt production block and make over 700hp.
