help help help (Idle Issues)

ok I got rid of the whistle from the throttle body there were 2 thing causing it 1 the throttle plate screws were loose and there was a bunch of carbon build up around the out side edge of the throttle plate.

but im still having idle issues set the tps to .98 volts started the car with IAC unpluged got the idle as low as possible recheck tps and reset to .98 volts pluged the iac back in and idle went up .

But still when i rev it in park to 2000 rpm + it drops to 1500 than slowly come back down to normal idle

I have replaced all vac lines and new tps and new IAC

Reset the computer (unhooking the battery for a few minutes is the easiest way though you could pull the ecu fuse), should go away then. Might also go away after you drive the car a few times. I'd try that before you got worried.

got it running great now

fixed whistle 2 things
1 cleaned all the carbon build up in the throttle body and in tthe egr spacer and in the plenum.
2 the screws that were holding the throttle plate were loose tigtend them up

fixed bad idle probles
1 replaced all the upper gaskets and vacuum lines from the top of the intake to the throttle body
2 this ones funny replaced IAC with new one and it didnt work so i cleaned the old on with MAF cleaner and set the TPS to .98 volts then set the idle screw as low as i could without it stalling and without the IAC pluged in then shut the car down pluged in the IAC and bingo idles perfect and revs up nice car runs perfect

thank to all thos who helped :award this goes to you
